WORCESTERSHIRE ASSOCIATION OF GOVERNORS (WAG) QUESTION TIME incorporating THE AGM
On Friday 18th May Worcestershire Governors assembled in the Worcester Council Chamber to receive presentations from Sajid Javid, Member of Parliament for Bromsgrove and Parliamentary Private Secretary to George Osborne, Chancellor of the Exchequer; John Painter Previous Academy Governor, Prince Henry?s Academy Evesham; and Mike Ashton CEO Hereford & Worcestershire Chamber of Commerce.? WAG would like to thank all speakers for their informative, insightful and challenging speeches.

Following ?Question time?, Malcolm Richards chaired the WAG AGM.? The Chairs report highlighted WAGs current position, the ?winds of change? that are coming and the challenges that these winds are bringing with them.? At the end of the meeting Tony Eden (outgoing treasurer) and Anne Bisson (outgoing secretary) were thanked for their commitment and services to the WAG Executive Committee.? Anne Bisson who was present at the meeting received gifts of thanks and members rose to applaud her for her generosity and for being the ?backbone of WAG? these past few years.
